The Bramble
A summertime classic.
Many lovely drinks can be made from a gin sour base, but the Bramble is our late summer favorite. Invented at Fred’s Club, Soho (England) in the 1980s, it looks as good as it tastes.
2 oz Rhodium Gin
1 oz lemon juice
1 oz Crème de Mure or blackberry simple syrup*
Shake gin and lemon with ice, strain over crushed ice in rocks glass, drizzle blackberry liqueur or syrup over the top. Garnish with fresh blackberry.
*To make blackberry syrup, crush a handful of fresh blackberries in warm 1:1 simple syrup, infuse, strain, bottle.
