Tasting Room Rentals

The Tasting Room at Rhode Island Spirits is a unique and comfortable multipurpose space that can accommodate many different types of events including wedding or baby showers, birthday and anniversary parties, team meetings, holiday and corporate parties, fundraisers, and more. Our light-filled, classic mill location offers a mix of custom and vintage furniture, and ramp access on the side of the building on Commerce St.


Guest Capacity
The Tasting Room accommodates a maximum of 60 people. We have a bar that seats 12 guests, and various size tables and couches.

AMENITIES

  • Our full-room sound system can switch between streaming music and a microphone.

  • We can accommodate outside catering.

  • Parking for 30+ cars.

  • Day-of coordinator.

  • Two single occupancy, all gender restrooms inside the Tasting Room.

  • Alcoholic beverage service: Our seasonally rotating and classic cocktails made from products manufactured on site. Any beer or wine, would have to be purchased by your licensed caterer and served by our bar staff.

Rental Pricing

Partial Rentals During Open Hours: Friday-Sunday

We are happy to offer reserved spaces for small events that can share the Tasting Room during our regular business hours.

  • Lounge Space: Up to 15 guests, flat fee of $50 for up to 3 hours. Does not include beverage service.

Whole-Venue Rentals: Monday-Thursday

3-hour base rental: $350 (includes 1 hour setup time, 3 hours event time, one bartender/day-of coordinator).

  • Additional hours $150/hr.

  • Additional bar staff $25/hour (we require 1 bartender for every 25 guests).

  • Does not include beverage service (see below)

  • Optional Distillery Tour (see below)

Whole-Venue Rentals: Friday-Sunday

Please Note: Whole-Venue rentals Friday-Sunday require that the Tasting Room be closed to the public. We therefore require a minimum total charge of $1,200 (if the base room rate, additional hours, additional bartender hours, and beverage charges to not equal at least $1,200, we will charge organizer the difference).

3-hour base rental: $500 (includes 1 hour setup time, 3 hours event time, one bartender/day-of coordinator).

  • Additional hours $150/hr.

  • Additional bartenders $25/hour (we require 1 bar staff for every 25 guests).

  • Does not include beverage service. (see below)

Beverage Service

Event With No Caterer: Limited service, staffed bar with seasonally rotating and classic cocktails made from products manufactured on site, and nonalcoholic options

  • Option 1: Open Bar: $15 per person, per hour (our state license limits our service: we may serve a maximum of three drinks to any guest on a single day)

  • Option 2: Guest Tabs: we will charge guests

Catered Event:  Alcoholic beverage service may be arranged through your caterer; we require that service includes our seasonally rotating and classic cocktails made from products manufactured on site. Additional beer, wine, or spirits would have to be purchased by your licensed caterer and served by our bar staff.

  • Costs to be figured in collaboration with caterer

Distillery Tour

Whole-Venue Rentals only: We can provide a tour of the distillery by one of the owners, including samples of up to 4 spirits. 6 pp minimum/10 pp maximum per tour.

  • Tour: $10 per person

Tour and small bottle of spirits (375 ml, pick your favorite): $30 per person

Nonprofit Fundraisers

For select nonprofits, we offer the opportunity to use the Tasting Room for your event and we waive the usual rental fees.
